An intimate gathering of black women designed to nurture your heart, renew your mind, and recharge your soul.
As a leader, change-maker, or founder, you're used to carrying the weight of others—guiding, building, and pouring out. But where do you go to pause, process, and be poured into?
Over three months, we’ll journey together through
Live Cohort Gatherings - Bi-weekly Zoom sessions where we process the content together, share our stories, and build genuine community.
Pre-Recorded Videos - Five sessions that feel like honest, unhurried conversations about rest, expectations, God's character, and soul care.
Supper Club – A Pan-African-inspired dinner for NYC/NJ participants. Break bread together, connect in person, and experience the gift of unhurried fellowship.
Opening Retreat: We start together with prayer practices, biblical teaching, creative rest activities, and life-giving community.
The Rest Guide - A five-part companion guide to help you name your needs, deepen your faith, and build sustainable rhythms of rest.
If you're longing for a season of intentional care and reconnection with God, this is for you.
The Black Women Resting Group is a soul nourishing space designed for change-makers, founders or women in transition, who are desiring rest for their bodies and their souls.
-
The group is grounded in Matthew 11:28 where Jesus says:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Our Journey Together
Each session includes:
A biblical rest principle – What does Scripture say about rest, work, identity, trust, and Sabbath?
A practice for mental and emotional health – Practical tools to care for your soul in real time.
A plan to build rest rhythms – How to integrate rest into different seasons of your life.
-
